Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any HostGanga service, you agree to comply with all policies,
guidelines, and rules mentioned in this document.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. Companies must be legally registered.
Account Accuracy
All user information (email, mobile, billing info) must be accurate. Fake or misleading accounts
may be suspended without notice.
Service Activation
- Shared, Cloud & VPS hosting activate instantly after payment.
- Dedicated servers may take 1–24 hours for setup.
- Domains activate instantly after successful registry verification.
Use of Hosting Services
- No hosting of illegal content including malware, phishing, spam, or copyrighted data.
- No storage of pirated movies, songs, apps, or cracking tools.
- No hosting of adult, gambling, or prohibited content unless legally compliant.
- Resource limits (CPU/RAM/IO) apply based on plan.
Email & Communication Policy
- Mass/bulk emailing is not allowed on shared hosting.
- Transactional email usage must follow anti-spam guidelines.
- SMTP abuse leads to immediate suspension.
Domain Registration Terms
- All domain sales are final and non-refundable.
- ICANN/NIXI rules apply for .COM/.IN domains.
- Incorrect WHOIS information may lead to domain suspension.
Domain Transfer Rules
- Domains older than 60 days can be transferred.
- Auth-code & unlocked domain required.
- Renewal is required for successful transfer in some TLDs.
Data Privacy & Security
HostGanga follows strict privacy policies. We never sell customer data.
Security measures include firewalls, DDoS protection, encryption,
and constant monitoring.
Data Backup Policy
- Backups are provided as a courtesy service only.
- We do not guarantee 100% restoration.
- Users must maintain their own external backups.
Resource Usage Policy
Overuse of CPU, RAM, or IO may result in throttling, temporary suspension,
or plan upgrade requirement.
VPS & Dedicated Server Responsibility
- You are responsible for software updates inside your VPS/server.
- HostGanga is not liable for user-installed scripts.
- Root access misuse may lead to data loss.
Cloud Hosting Auto-Scaling
Resource scaling may incur additional charges as per usage-based pricing.
Unlimited Hosting Policy
“Unlimited” means “no predefined limit,” but abusive usage (file storage, backups,
videos, warez) is prohibited.
CDN & Security Services
- CDN usage depends on fair bandwidth consumption.
- WAF/DDoS rules must not be bypassed.
Website Migration
- Free migration includes up to 5GB data.
- Large migrations may require manual approval.
Payments & Renewals
- All services are prepaid.
- Invoices must be paid before due dates.
- Expired services may be suspended or terminated automatically.
Refund Policy
- Domains, VPS, Dedicated Servers are non-refundable.
- Shared hosting refunds may apply within 7 days (case-by-case).
Late Payments
Delayed payment may result in suspension and data deletion if unpaid for
more than 30 days.
Service Suspension Conditions
- Illegal content
- Spam emails
- Payment overdue
- Security threat detected
- Server abuse
Termination Policy
HostGanga reserves the right to terminate services for policy violations
without refund.
Prohibited Activities
- Phishing, Hacking, Spoofing
- Crypto mining
- Bulk mailing / spamming
- Hosting malicious software
- Platform misuse
Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for any external plugins, scripts or software used by customers.
Support Policy
- 24/7 support for hosting & server issues.
- Development/Coding help not included.
- Root-level server issues may require additional time.
SLA (Service Level Agreement)
HostGanga guarantees 99.9% uptime for cloud, shared & VPS hosting.
Downtime exclusions include maintenance, DDoS attacks, natural disasters,
and third-party failures.
Abuse & Incident Reports
Users must respond to abuse complaints within 24 hours to avoid suspension.
Legal Compliance
Users must comply with Indian IT Act 2000, ICANN policies, and all applicable laws.
Limitation of Liability
HostGanga is not responsible for:
- Data loss caused by user actions
- Third-party scripts or malware
- User misconfigurations
- Force majeure events
Changes to Terms
HostGanga may modify these terms at any time. Updated version will be posted here.
